The Breakaway Music Festivals are a series of four festivals in four different cities in the eastern US. We have partnered with them for the last 2 years and in that time have been able to divert over 11,000 lbs of material from the landfill.
Deep tropics is a two-night event in downtown Nashville, TN. Our team completed a full-service contract, collecting, sorting, and cleaning up all material during and after the event. Deep tropics is one of our most thorough waste diversion programs with the inclusion of hard-to-recycle materials being diverted. Overall we were able to divert 4,024 lbs of material in our first year.
We work with Elevation Group for their series of “Wonder” events each summer. This includes WonderWorks, WonderStruck, WonderBus, and WonderRoad. We have partnered with them for six years, covering all aspects of their waste collection needs. Since 2017 we have helped them divert 33,410 lbs of material from the landfill.
Floyd Fest is a 5-day music festival in Floyd, Virginia. They have a strong foundation in recycling and compost in-ground and in their campsite. With a great volunteer team and supportive organizers we’ve been able to diver 35 tons of material in 3 years.
Levitate is a three-day event that takes place in Marshfield, Massachusetts early July. In 2023 our team enacted a full scale service of providing bins, collecting material, sorting, and litter sweeping. In our inaugural year we were able to divert 24,018 lbs of recycling and compost from the landfill.
Nelsonville Music Festival is a 3-day eclectic music festival in Southeastern Ohio. They have been with us for 11 years and have achieved zero waste status 6 times.
Riverfront Revival is a two-night country music festival in Charleston, South Carolina. Starting in 2022 our team has provided our full service; we collect waste before, during, and after the event, sort materials, and do litter sweeping throughout. Since our partnership began we have been able to divert over 14,000 lbs of material from the landfill.
Summer Camp Music Festival is a three day festival at Three Sister’s Park in Northern Illinois. We have partnered with them for two years, running their sorting center. Our specially-designed conveyor belts have helped increase the amount of recycling and compost being processed. In 2018 over 16,000 lbs of compost and recycling were diverted from the landfill.
